Mother of woman found hanging in tree shocked as police say body was staged

Jackson, Mississippi police say Tasia Fortune, 29, was already dead when her body was hung from a tree in August in what investigators call a staged crime scene; a medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. Three people have been arrested, and police say the killing may stem from a drug-related dispute, though no cause or date of death has been released.
