Centre asks Telangana CM to probe 1,600 crore missing coal

India's coal minister has asked Telangana's chief minister to investigate the disappearance of 40 lakh tonnes of coal worth 1,600 crore rupees from a state-federal mining company already burdened by over 51,500 crore rupees in unpaid government dues.
