Somali referee Artan to miss World Cup after being barred from entering US
Omar Artan, the 2025 CAF men's referee of the year, was denied entry to the US at Miami airport and will miss the 2026 World Cup. US authorities have not disclosed a reason, though Somalia is on the Trump administration's travel ban list.
