Germany sees record number of discrimination claims in 2025

Germany's Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency received a record 13,067 complaints in 2025, though surveys suggest only a fraction of those experiencing discrimination actually report it. Racism remained the most common complaint, followed by disability-based discrimination.
